From Concept to Completion

1. Survey & Site Assessment

Every successful project begins with precision. Our team conducts a thorough site survey to assess visibility, zoning, and electrical access. We take exact measurements and analyze the architectural elements to recommend the most effective and code-compliant solution for your location.

3. Permitting & Project Management

Navigating city permits is one of the most difficult parts of any sign project. Our dedicated project managers handle the entire process. We manage all applications, submittals, and city communications to secure your permit, keeping your project on schedule and on budget.

How Innovative Sign Systems Helps

The permitting process is often the most challenging part of a sign project. As your full-service sign partner, we handle it all:

  • Code Expertise: Deep understanding of local city ordinances and Coastal Commission requirements.
  • Accurate Submittals: Preparation of complete, professional permit packages to minimize delays.
  • City Liaison: We communicate directly with city planners and inspectors on your behalf.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively addressing potential compliance issues during design.

Don’t let permitting slow down your project. Trust the experts at Innovative Sign Systems.

For properties within the Coastal Zone (like Carlsbad, Oceanside, and Encinitas), we manage the dual-review process with the California Coastal Commission. We design your signage to meet stricter lighting, height, and aesthetic restrictions, ensuring your permit is issued without unnecessary delay.
